Kipsang Looking for Redemption, Mwangangi to Defend at Dam Tot DamloopPublished by IAAF on September 18, 2015 After a disappointing experience in the IAAF World Championships, Beijing 2015 marathon, Wilson Kipsang is looking for some redemption in the Dam tot Damloop 10 mile race, an IAAF Silver Label Road Race, in the Netherlands on Sunday (20). Kipsang had a great first part of the season, including finishing second in the London Marathon in 2.04.47 but the former world recordb holder for the classic distance (2.03.23, Berlin 2013) had to pull out after 35 kilometres in the Chinese capital. “The weather wasn’t good for me,” reflected Kipsang on Friday. “You might think that there were just seven kilometres to go, but my body told me that it wasn’t good for me to continue.
