Runner Hit By Car In Chattanooga UPDATE: The employer of the man who was hit has identified him as Cameron Bean. In a post on its Facebook page, Fast Break Athletics says, "Fast Break Family- Send all your positive thoughts and prayers out to Cameron Bean and his family. After working his shift [Saturday] at Fast Break, Cameron went on a routine run where he was struck by a car and has suffered traumatic injuries. Details are limited, but in the mean time please keep the Bean family in your thoughts and prayers." A man in Chattanooga is in serious condition after police say he was hit by a car while running. It happened Saturday evening around 6:45 on the 100 block of Moccasin Bend Road. Police say the runner was traveling south against the flow of traffic near the shoulder when the accident happened.
