Ryan Hall will not run November 7's New York City Marathon because of lingering injuries and too much lost training time, the New York Road Runners announced this morning.
On August 12, Hall dropped out of the Olympic Marathon at around the 10-mile mark. It was the first DNF of his career. Afterward he revealed he had been battling high hamstring problems leading up to the Games, in addition to theplantar fasciitis he's had since last fall.
