Meet the Pro Relay Challenge Elite American Runners

Robby Andrews

Andrews, 24, was the runner up in the 1500m at the 2015 USA Outdoor Championships, with a time of 3:38:75. He owns a 1:44:71 PR in the 800 meters, the second fastest time even run at an NCAA championship race.

Boris Berian

The 22-year-old Berian recently set a personal best in the 800m, running a 1:43:34 in Monaco. Berian’s time marked the fifth fastest American mark in the 800m of all time. After leaving Adams State and working at McDonalds, Berian rededicated himself to competitive training with the Big Bear Track Club and is now one of America’s fastest young middle distance runners.

Matt Centrowitz

Centrowitz, 26, is a former Olympian and regular competitor in middle distance for Team USA at the World Championships. He owns a personal best in the 1,500m of 3:31:09 and was the first University of Oregon graduate since Steve Prefontaine to win a USATF Outdoor championship. He placed fourth in the 1,500m at the 2012 Olympic Games and won a bronze medal in the same distance at the 2011 World Championships.

Ryan Hall

Hall, 32, is a two-time U.S. Olympic team marathoner and owns the U.S. record in the half marathon (59:43) and the fastest-ever run American time in the marathon: a 2:04:58 at Boston in 2011. This is Hall’s second year participating in the Dallas Marathon Pro Relay Challenge.

Ryan Hill

Hill, 25, has represented U.S. at multiple World Championships in the 5000 meters, most recently finishing seventh. He owns a PR of 13:05:69 in the 5000m, run in Bruxelles earlier this year.

Leo Manzano

The 31-year-old Manzano is a two-time Olympian (2008, 2012) and has represented the U.S. on six World Championship teams. Manzano won a silver medal in the 1,500m at the 2012 Olympics, breaking a 44-year medal drought for U.S. men’s middle distance running and has a PR of 3:30:98 in the 1,500m, set at Monaco in 2014.
