A Nike Running Correspondent's checklist: Keys. Tunes. Sneaks.
Hard-hitting questions for the world's top athletes while on a whirlwind
tour courtesy of Nike. Ready...Set...Go!
The Nike Running Correspondent program is revving up and we want you.
Yeah, that's right: you! We want your beaming personality and
****-kicking stamina for the Nike Running Correspondent program. We want
the young lady who rocks out to her favorite powersongs on her morning
run...or the dude who aims to crush Alan Webb's American record in the
mile during every workout session...or the college student who dreams of
turning a passion for running into a communications career. Think
you've got the stamina to keep up? Then tell us why you deserve to be
the Nike Running Correspondent.
As the Nike Running Correspondent, you will be responsible for
interviewing big-time Nike athletes, providing video coverage of the
biggest running events across the country, and blogging about your
everyday athletic experiences. Now, we're not just looking for total
running fanatics; we want someone with a great stride and a super-cool
personality to vibe with some of the biggest athletes in the game. Can
you see yourself getting running tips from world-renowned Nike coach and
marathoner Alberto Salazar one day, and then doing the electric slide
at the finish line with long-distance runner Kara Goucher the next? Of
course, Nike has your back and will provide you with all the hottest and
freshest Nike gear, along with paid travel expenses to Nike events.
After all, you will be an integral part of the Nike crew. Still think
you have what it takes? If so, then you just may be the person we're
looking for. So what are you waiting for? Gear up and get to it.
